Alliston continues to be a vibrant and growing community while maintaining its small town atmosphere. The community host a number of events throughout the year including The Alliston Potato Festival, Alliston Farmers Market, Canada Day Celebration, Hometown Christmas and other seasonal activities.

Alliston is a settlement in Simcoe County and is part of the Town of New Tecumseth. The primary downtown area is located along Highway 89, known as Victoria Street, west of Hwy 400. Alliston continues to prosper and grow and is recognized as a great place to live, work and play.
